It’s almost ready.

For a while now, this book has been living in that in-between space: part idea, part notes, part messy drafts, part excitement. The kind of project that starts because you cannot quite leave it alone.

And now it is nearly here.

This book was written for new spinners who want a gentler way in. For people who have looked at a spinning wheel and felt drawn to it, but also slightly intimidated by it. For people who do not want to begin with raw fleece, but with beautifully prepared fibre, simple explanations, and the chance to actually enjoy those first hours at the wheel.

I wanted to make something practical, encouraging, and genuinely beginner-friendly. A book that helps you understand your wheel, make sense of ratios and tension, and feel more at home with the rhythm of spinning. Something useful, but also beautiful enough to keep beside you while you learn.

It is not quite out in the world yet, but it is very close.

Before the wider August release, I’ll be opening pre-release orders direct from our website. Those who order in the pre-launch will get a discounted price and receive their copy early on 26 July.
