The Lojan Travel Buddy is a compact folding spinning wheel designed in the Netherlands by Jan Louët and his daughter Loes for both new and experienced spinners. Its double treadle, Dutch tension bobbin-led system, and five ratios from 1:4 to 1:18 make it suitable for spinning thin, thick, and art yarns with precise control.

Made from natural solid beech with four bobbins, a stand-alone lazy kate, and an included backpack, it offers an all-in-one portable setup that is simple to assemble and easy to use.

This is a great wheel at an entry level and beginner level price, but has the options to spin larger and different thicknesses as your confidence grows.
