Hand Dyed Shetland double knit

Hand-dyed Shetland yarn is a premium, artisanal yarn made from the fleece of Shetland sheep, known for its fine, soft, and durable texture.

Each ball is individually dyed by hand, using or vibrant colours, giving it a unique and one-of-a-kind appearance.

The yarn is typically lightweight, with a slightly rustic feel, offering excellent stitch definition. It’s perfect for knitting or crocheting garments like sweaters, scarves, or accessories, as well as for colorwork techniques like Fair Isle. The hand-dyeing process ensures that every ball has its own subtle variations, adding depth and character to finished projects.

I only dye small limited batches, so whatever your project it will be wonderfully unique. Slight variations in balls may occur due to the hand dying process.
